You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you log. Keep your credentials to yourself and use the service lawfully.

Terms of Service
The short version: use TripSync lawfully, your content stays yours, settlements are between you and your friends, and third-party bookings happen on third-party terms.
Expenses and settlements
TripSync records shared costs and computes who owes whom, including the minimum-transfer settlement. It does not move money, hold balances or act as a payment intermediary. Settling any amount is strictly between trip members.
Calculations are performed on the amounts you enter. Exact arithmetic on a wrong entry is still a wrong total — members are responsible for what they log.
Travel information
Train data is provided live via RailRadar; bus and flight figures are estimates and labelled as such. Booking happens on IRCTC, RedBus, Google Flights or other third-party services under their own terms. TripSync sells no tickets and is not a travel agent.
Your content
You own what you add. You grant us the licence needed to show it to the trip members you invited — that is the licence’s whole purpose.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for trip outcomes, third-party services, or disputes between members. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Pre-launch draft. This describes how TripSync is designed to work and will be reviewed by counsel before public launch — the principles above won’t change.
