The short version: your trip data exists to run your trip, it is visible only to the people you invite, and we do not sell personal data.
Account basics — your name and email — so your friends can find you on a trip.
Trip content you create: itineraries, expenses, packing lists, photos and messages to the trip assistant. This content belongs to the trip and is visible to its members.
Basic technical data needed to run and secure the service, such as device type and logs.
To provide the product: shared itineraries, travel search, expense splitting, settlement calculation and the trip assistant.
AI features (itinerary drafting, the assistant) process your trip content to produce the result you asked for.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show advertising.
Train results come from RailRadar (Indian Railways data). Stays and restaurants come from OpenStreetMap. Bus and flight estimates deep-link to IRCTC, RedBus and Google Flights — when you follow a deep link, that service’s own policies apply.
TripSync never sends these services your trip ledger or member list to fetch results.
TripSync records expenses and calculates settlements. It holds no funds, processes no payments and connects to no bank or UPI account. There is no financial data to breach because none is collected.
You can edit or delete your trip content and your account. Deleting your account removes your personal data from active systems.
